1. How do you describe yourself as an artist?
A musical explorer looking for connections in unexpected places.

2. What's the best part of your job?
Making music everyday and working with people.

3. How are you involved in social justice?
I work with young people everyday and put my efforts to educating people about history and different cultures. I bridge communities through music, dance, and performance. 

4. What does socializing with purpose mean to you?
With my phone and laptop :) 

BIO: Kiran "Q the Sun" Vedula is an Indian-American composer/songwriter who combines hip-hop and experimental electronic music with traditional folk influences from around the world. For the past 15 years, he has been working closely with top notch artists and organizations in Milwaukee, nationally, and abroad. He creates compositions, performances, and youth programs that are entertaining, emotional, and culturally relevant, with a focus on studying history and building community.
