DANCE FEST 2019

Dance is a unique combination of athleticism and grace; an expression of vitality and a joy to witness. Milwaukee-area dance companies span genres, demographics and techniques but they are equally invested in the elevation of the art form and perfection of the craft.

In July 2019, we were thankful to work with Sherman Phoenix to make the program accessible, and create a powerful opportunity for collaboration. The resulting combined performance was a breathtaking example of community and an unmasking of the sometimes hidden and often unexpected homegrown Milwaukee creative talent. We were happy to be a part of it and are hoping to grow this program and make it an annual event.
