To foster a thriving filmmaking community in the Greater Milwaukee area, NŌ Studios and Marquette University are launching an Emerging Filmmaker Fellowship program

To foster a thriving filmmaking community in the Greater Milwaukee area, NŌ Studios and Marquette University are launching an Emerging Filmmaker Fellowship program. This “Artist in Residence” program encourages collaboration, networking, resource sharing, peer-to-peer feedback and professional development education.

Marquette University provides support for the fellowships through its shared office space at the NŌ Studios Film Hub, production facilities, equipment and “as-needed” consultation with Diederich College of Communication faculty, including Professors Joseph Brown and Kristin Holodak and other broadcast, video engineer and editing professionals.

The Emerging Filmmaker Fellowship program will give filmmakers the resources and support specific in areas that a working filmmaker needs, including a collaborative place to work, filmmaking and editing equipment, mentorship, and a cash award.
