Children of Peace Uganda founder Jane Ekayu has spent the last 15 years helping former Child Rebel Soldiers heal from trauma through creative arts. Ekayu recently spoke on a panel in Milwaukee at No Studio's "Art Activated: Social Justice Summit" about how her work as a child trauma therapist has helped her reach about 3,500 children orphaned or taken into captivity during the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) War that has been ongoing since 1987.
