Maren Klakegg - Student Academy Award winning Director and cinemamtagerpher.
Maren is a Norwegian filmmaker who studied film and Tv production at Westerdals in Oslo. She has worked in narrative film, documentaries, on TV productions and with music videos. But her passion is to tell real life stories with real people. With her bachelor film, the documentary Dear Father..., she has gotten recognition with festival prizes both in Norway as well as Internationally - with some of them being a Student Oscar win and BAFTA shortlisted.
Dear Father...
Dear Father... tells the story of Beate, who from a young age was sexually abused by her father. Beate has fought hard to take back the the power of her own life and sexuality. The film tackles an important topic, and it is a story about the hope and strength that we humans have within ourselves.
