Sypher Lady X

Sypher Lady X is a multi talented artist. As the First Lady of Sypher Squad (Milwaukee Hip Hop group) She has created a lane for herself in the Milwaukee music scene. As a group member (since 2008) and solo artist (since 2012), SLX implements a beautiful mixture of poetry, rhymes and is deeply rooted in community activism, which truly defines Sypher Lady X. Originally from Zacatecas, Mexico, SLX was raised in the heart of Milwaukee’s southside since 1996. Once a timid, young, Mexican girl, who now ignites the flame of hope for others trying to achieve their dreams; is currently one of the most Powerful Strong Voice representing the city.

SLX found her passion for music through the support of local artist friends and organizing community; even having the honor of performing among worldwide HipHop artists on the east coast thanks to Guerrilla Republik underground and industry artists as well. Making an effort to speak on important issues that affect our neighborhoods, and our people; especially undocumented immigrants. SLX has not only found her voice, but continuously embraces supporting other artists and creatives in the city by creating ONTHERIZE414; a platform which strives to celebrate our community, our people and our culture. A great composer of her time and original Milwaukee creative.
